After a decade in the industry, I am deeply proud to have a proven track record in short-form programming, daytime television, and unscripted entertainment. But my journey to entertainment has certainly been a wild one!

Originally from sunny South Florida, I am the only child of a rockstar single Jamaican mom, so it’s fair to say that she taught me hustle by example. I worked my way into magnet arts middle and high schools and then to Dartmouth, where I studied Neuroscience and was on track to go to med school. Fast forward to my senior winter when I had the gut-wrenching realization that I was making a HUGE mistake. My heart and soul weren’t in medicine. What was I doing and more importantly, WTF was I going to do with my life now that my perfect life plan was unraveling??

I dug deep and remembered that my real passion had always been art, storytelling, performance, and all things entertainment and pop culture.

So, I decided to take a giant leap of faith, and after college I moved to New York to pursue working in the entertainment industry. I accelerated at my day job working in Financial Services – all the while side-hustling to catch a break in entertainment. Then, years of grinding paid off.

In 2014, I won a national VH1 competition to be a reporter alongside Nick Lachey. That incredible opportunity led to more, and I have since hosted digital shows for Condé Nast and Buzzfeed, covered The Oscars, GRAMMYs and Tonys for The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard, and written for Penguin Random House’s young-adult and millennial division.

Life changed yet again when I moved to Los Angeles to help launch Steve Harvey's Emmy-nominated talk show "STEVE.” During my first year at “STEVE,” I worked simultaneously as an Executive Assistant and on-camera talent for the show's daily ‘Hey Steve’ segment in addition to hosting digital content for SteveTV.com. I was promoted to Associate Producer for the show’s second season.

Following “STEVE,” I joined Condé Nast’s L.A. office where I produced, directed, and developed digital video content for iconic brands like Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, and Architectural Digest, featuring celebrity talent like Kim Kardashian, Renée Zellweger, RuPaul, Liza Koshy, and Octavia Spencer. I also produced and directed celebrity-driven videos on dating and relationships for Tinder featuring talent like Issa Rae, Kumail Nanjiani, and Daniel Kaluuya.

Outside of making (or let’s be honest, binge-watching) shows, I am obsessed with travel (17 countries, 28 states, and counting!), tennis, interior design, and my eternal queen, Beyoncé. I have also been a nationally ranked Slam Poet and a Miss New York USA contestant.
